My Story
Im a Jesus-loving, wax-slinging BOYMOM who found her voice and passion through this Scentsy journey! When I joined Scentsy in 2012, I had no idea that $99 was going to change my life the way that it did - its truly a drop in the bucket compared to the many things this business has blessed our family with! My husband Scott and I just moved to North Carolina from Texas with our 7 boys to start a new homesteading adventure! We love baseball, football and have a heart for foster care, adoption and advocating for child abuse victims! Our family has been built through foster care and adoption - a story of redemption, grace, and beautiful things that can be made from even the darkest ashes. Scentsy been the vessel to give us a way to provide for and support our family, to give generously and love our neighbors and community in ways we otherwise wouldn’t be able to.
In the ELEVEN wonderful years that Ive been a Scentsy consultant, Ive learned more about myself and what drives me than I ever imagined. I lead a team of men and women from all over the world that are MOVING and serving people one bar of wax at a time! They've become more than a downline - more than friends - we are FAMILY. Our team name Ohana Hala desires to form a strong bond between each one of us - Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten! I love how it has tied into our journey through advocacy, foster care and adoption. This business is so much more than just wax and warmers!
The OHANA theme really hit home for us when we went on our first incentive trip to Hawaii in 2013. As young parents, Scott and I never got to go on a honeymoon - but Scentsy provided that for us and so much more! We have earned trips to Hawaii, Greece, a Caribbean cruise, Cozumel, Disney World with our children, New York City, an AFRICAN SAFARI, a Mediterranean cruise, Cancun... and when COVID stoke our river cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium Scentsy generously gave us a large CASH bonus instead. Since then we’ve taken our entire family to Disney World again, and earned both an Alaskan cruise and a Western Caribbean cruise! This 2023-2024 season we are earning a trip to HAWAII or BORA BORA!!! Travel has become a huge part of my love language, and is a way that I am able to love and serve my husband and children that I otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to. I am eternally grateful for this Scentsy journey and all of the adventures its taken us on! Come with us this time!!!
